The Green Parrot Feather is slightly larger than red stem dwarf parrots feather and much faster growing in gently moving water like creek-streams of a garden pond or near but not in waterfalls. The stem must be fully submerged and prefers a loam soil medium but is not required for summer growing. Soil is required if you expect to overwinter parrots feather in zones 6 to 8.
